Astro-artist Dave Burke serves as liaison between Martian Finks (TM) and mankind. When he isn't posing them for portraits or cashing in on their likeness in the form of "space swag", DB shuttles the reclusive residents of the red planet to Earth for "specially-priced interplanetary weekend getaways" in a modified 1970's AMC Gremlin fueled by inspiration from our planet's pop culture, kitsch and discarded trash.
DB is creator of the "Monster Fetish" brand. His roots in lowbrow garnered him covers for Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's "Rat Fink Comix" in the mid 90's as well as a two man exhibit with Roth in 1999. In 2007, DB created the 30th Anniversary "Fiend" logo for legendary horror punk band The Misfits. He is known for his moody, sepia-toned Halloween paintings, Tiki-themed imagery and diverse styles including hard-edge modernist designs. DB continues to exhibit worldwide.
